So the big day was yesterday, no more holding our anxiety, or crossing our fingers. We saw everything. Who got moonmens? It doesn’t really matter all the artists where amazing. But heres the MTV VMA 2008 Moonmen Winners!!: Britney Spears! Yes she won! She won TWICE!!!!! Congratulations thats all I have to say ! She one a award for best female music video “Piece Of Me” and a 2nd award for best pop video of the year “Piece Of Me” !!!! Congratulations Britney Spears! Aswell to her beloveded fans! Next! Chris Brown! Chris Brown one a moonmen for best male video of the year “With You” !!!! His great work payed off aswell!! The Pussycats where also there on the list for one aswell, and so they did win one !! For best dancing in a video award for “When I Grow Up!!!” The dancing moves where really fabalous aswell! Linkin Park ! The amazing rock band won an award for best rock video, ” Shadow Of The Day , congratulations aswell!!! Lil Wayne, best hip hop video of the year! Great job! Congratulations! Tokio Hotel Also won an award for the best new artist ! Congratulations! Ok so you have watched the VMA’s or you either got the scoop! Whats your thoughts ? The performances where great aswell from Paramore, Jonas Brothers, Pink , Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, and many more! The feature guests where great as well! So was Russell Brand. So What are your thoughts about the VMA’s?!
Lets be honest…. this was the worst VMAs ever. The awards went to the people that the judges felt “deserved to finaly win”; not the pepole with the best songs or videos. Britney has done very well at over coming her problems, but her music is sub-par Eurotrash techno. All the other Nominees were much more deserving.
The performances were lackluster at best. Christina was the only artist there that actualy did the VMA thing by using an interesting set, changing her familiar songs, and in general suprising people. T-Pain was horrible… I’ll leave it at that for him.
Russle Brand is a douche. He wasnt funny. I have seen british comedy before. I like british comedy. I hate Russle Brand.
All in all, this year was more of a Britney Spears promotional then a real VMA.
We all had something to say on this. I even did a post on my blog because I was so mad that I watched the VMAs.
